Amrish & Anisha

We were introduced through the family but we both didn’t believe in arrange marriages. Anisha sent the first message to me and started us down our WhatsApp journey of getting to know each other, in the middle of COVID. 

After 10 long months of endless back and forth messages and calls, travel restrictions were finally lifted and I flew to the UK, and finally met Anisha! Over the course of my time there, we spent a lot of time together, getting to know each other better and creating lots of memories involving lots of delicious food, as we are both foodies!

Before Anisha decided to commit to anything more, she had to visit Minnesota for herself where she quickly learned how amazing it is, especially compared to the UK! 

The multiple trips to see each other allowed us to visit many cities around USA as well as seeing parts of the world - from Las Vegas, Denver and Pheonix to our first holiday to Jamaica.

Our journey hasn't been the easiest to say the least, being long distance it was difficult because we couldn't always see each other but this was an ultimate test, which bought us closer. 

Amrish 

It happend on Saturday 2nd July 2022. He mentioned we were going for brunch. I had no idea what to expect as Amrish usually doesn't plan anything, he always leaves it to me.

On the day, we arrived to a beautiful restaurant overlooking a runway watching planes take off and land. After eating, we walked outside to go and watch the planes. Amrish had organised an amazing helicopter ride, the views from the sky of Minnesota were amazing. 

As soon as we landed, Amrish had realised he had to keep with the family tradition of importing wives and got down on one knee and proposed. From the incredible views to the special moment for us both, it was an amazing day. A day that will be in our hearts forever.
